Metro Manila, parts of PH to have isolated rains due to 3 weather systems
Metro Manila and other parts of the country will experience isolated rains due to three weather systems, PAGASA said.
According to its 4 p.m. weather forecast, the shear line, the Northeast Monsoon, and the easterlies are prevailing over the country on Wednesday.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms may be observed over Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Aklan, and Capiz due to the shear line.
The Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters may be felt over Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas, as the rest of the country sees light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:21 a.m. on Thursday. —Jiselle Anne C. Casucian/LDF, GMA Integrated News
