Parts of PH to see cloudy skies, rains
Three weather systems continue to bring cloudy skies and rains over several parts of the country.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Thursday afternoon, the shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Aklan, Capiz, and Northern Samar.
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will cause cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, and the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON.
Central Visayas, the rest of Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Davao Region, and Cotabato will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
It will also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
Flash floods or landslides may occur as a result of these weather conditions.
Meanwhile, Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon will feel moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
