Valentine's Day to be cloudy, rainy in some parts of PH


Three weather systems will continue to bring cloudy skies and rains over several parts of the country this weekend.

According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Friday afternoon, the shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Quezon, Rizal, Laguna, Oriental Mindoro, and Marinduque.

The Northeast Monsoon will cause cloudy skies with light rains over the rest of Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Ifugao, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Central Luzon.

The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, and Palawan.

It will also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, moderate winds with moderate seas may be expected over Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, as the rest of the country observes light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
