Cloudy skies, rains in different parts of PH on Monday due to 3 weather systems
Three weather systems are forecast to bring cloudy skies and rains in different parts of the country on Monday, the state weather bureau said.
In its 4 a.m. public weather forecast, PAGASA said the shear line is affecting the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas while the Northeast Monsoon is affecting the rest of Luzon.
The easterlies are affecting the rest of the country.
The state weather bureau added that there are no low pressure areas (LPAs) being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.
Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, and Northern Samar will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms as a result of the shear line, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The Northeast Monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains to Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, and cloudy skies with light rains to Quezon and the rest of Bicol region.
Meanwhile, Mindanao and the rest of Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms while Palawan and the rest of the Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides in these areas.
Northern Luzon, the eastern section of the rest of Luzon, and the eastern section of Visayas will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions.
The rest of Luzon and of Visayas, as well as Mindanao, will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.
