Easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains in different parts of PH

The easterlies are forecast to bring cloudy skies and rains in different parts of the country until Wednesday, the state weather bureau said.

In its 4 p.m. daily weather forecast on Tuesday afternoon, PAGASA said the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte.

The easterlies will also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides in some areas due to moderate to heavy rains in these areas.

Meanwhile, moderate winds with moderate seas will be felt over the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas.

The rest of the country will be having light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunset today, Tuesday is at 6:03 p.m. while sunrise in Metro Manila on Wednesday, February 25 will be at 6:15 a.m. — JMA, GMA Integrated News
