Cloudy skies, rain expected in PH due to easterlies

The easterlies will continue to affect the country’s weather conditions in the next 24 hours, PAGASA said Thursday afternoon.

According to its 4 p.m. weather forecast, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be observed in Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the easterlies.

PAGASA warned that these severe thunderstorms may trigger flash floods or landslides.

The eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will experience moderate wind and coastal water conditions.

Winds will be light to moderate, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the rest of the country.
