Rains expected to persist across PH due to easterlies
By GMA Integrated News
The easterlies will affect the weather conditions of the country in the next 24 hours, PAGASA said Sunday afternoon.
According to its 4 p.m. weather forecast, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will be observed in Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the easterlies.
PAGASA warned that these severe thunderstorms may trigger flash floods or landslides.
State meteorologists also said the extreme Northern Luzon will experience moderate wind and coastal water conditions.
Winds will be light to moderate, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the rest of the country.
The sun will rise at 6:13 a.m. on Monday. — Mariel Celine Serquiña/BM, GMA Integrated News
