Cloudy skies, rains to persist over PH on Monday amid easterlies

The easterlies are affecting the country and will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms to Metro Manila and the rest of the country on Monday, March 2, the state weather bureau said.

In its 4 a.m. public weather forecast, PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Northern Luzon will experience moderate winds and moderate seas while the western sections of Central and Southern Luzon will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
