At least one storm may enter PAR in March — PAGASA

At least one tropical cyclone may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this March, according to the state weather bureau PAGASA.

In a report on “Unang Balita” on Monday, PAGASA said the potential storm could make landfall over the Caraga region or Eastern Visayas.

The weather disturbance may then traverse parts of the Visayas toward Palawan.

As of posting, no low-pressure area is being monitored either inside or outside PAR.

PAGASA said the easterlies are currently affecting parts of the country, bringing scattered rains.

However, most areas, including Metro Manila, have a low chance of rainfall.
