Amihan to bring rains over parts of Northern Luzon
Rain will continue to persist in several areas of the country in the next 24 hours due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) and easterlies, PAGASA said Thursday afternoon.
According to PAGASA's 4 p.m. weather forecast, Amihan will affect the weather conditions of Cagayan, Isabela, Batanes, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur, but with no significant impact.
Meanwhile, the easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
PAGASA warned that severe thunderstorms may trigger flash floods or landslides.
Northern Luzon will experience moderate wind and coastal water conditions.
Winds will be light to moderate, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the rest of the country.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:10 a.m. on Friday. — Mariel Celine Serquiña/VBL, GMA Integrated News
