Most of the country will see cloudy skies and rains due to the easterlies and the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), the state weather bureau PAGASA said in its early Saturday morning forecast.

Batanes, the Babuyan Islands, Apayao, Mainland Cagayan, and the Ilocos Region will experience cloudy skies with light rains, while the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley will expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains from Amihan.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail in the rest of the country due to the easterlies.

In Northern Luzon, winds will be moderate to strong along with moderate to rough coastal water conditions.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are expected in the rest of the country.
