Cloudy skies, light rains over parts of Luzon due to Amihan
The Northeast Monsoon is affecting Northern Luzon and Central Luzon and will bring cloudy skies and rains to these areas in the next 24 hours, the state weather bureau said on Tuesday afternoon.
In its 4 p.m. weather forecast, PAGASA said the Amihan will bring cloudy skies and light rains to Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora.
The Northeast Monsoon will also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains to Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, CALABARZON, and the rest of Central Luzon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be felt throughout the rest of the country due to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned that these severe thunderstorms may trigger flash floods or landslides.
State meteorologists said winds will be moderate to strong, while coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the northern and eastern sections of Luzon, the eastern section of Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunset in Metro Manila today will be at 6:07 p.m. while sunrise tomorrow, March 18, will be at 6:02 a.m. Wednesday. — JMA, GMA Integrated News
