Easterlies to bring isolated rains across PH

Several areas across the country may experience rain over the next 24 hours due to the easterlies, PAGASA said Sunday afternoon.

In its 4 p.m. forecast, the state weather bureau said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA warned that severe thunderstorms could trigger flash floods or landslides.

Winds will be light to moderate, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate across the country, state meteorologists added.
