Cloudy skies, isolated rains expected due to easterlies
Parts of the country will experience cloudy skies and isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms on Monday as a result of the easterlies, the state weather bureau said.
In its 4 a.m. public weather forecast, PAGASA said the easterlies are currently affecting the Philippines.
The state weather bureau said there are no low pressure areas (LPAs) being monitored for tropical cyclone formation so far.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
PAGASA said there may be possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions as well.
