Easterlies, localized thunderstorms to bring rains over PH
The easterlies and localized thunderstorms are expected to bring cloudy skies and scattered rains over parts of the country on Monday, the state weather bureau PAGASA said.
In its 24-hour weather forecast issued at 4 p.m., PAGASA said the easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and the Visayas.
Localized thunderstorms are also expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Mindanao.
PAGASA warned that these weather conditions may trigger flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, winds across northern Luzon are expected to be light to moderate, blowing from southeast to northeast. For the rest of the country, winds will also be light to moderate, coming from the east to northeast.
The maximum temperature recorded at the PAGASA Weather Station in Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City, reached 32.8°C at 2 p.m., while the minimum dropped to 25.2°C at 2 a.m.—MCG, GMA Integrated News
