PAGASA reports HPA ridge over Luzon, isolated rains across PH
The ridge of the High Pressure Area (HPA) is extending over Northern and Central Luzon as localized thunderstorms is expected to bring cloudy skies with isolated rains over the country on Friday, PAGASA reported.
Meanwhile, the state weather bureau also reported that Tropical Storm Sinlaku, which is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), is 2,725 kilometers east of northeastern Mindanao packing maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour, gustiness of up to 80 km/h and moving westward at 10km/h.
Forecast Weather Conditions
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms brought about by localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Conditions
The wind speed forecast for Luzon is light to moderate moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters remain slight to moderate.
