Easterlies to affect PH with cloudy skies, scattered rains
The easterlies are expected to bring cloudy skies and isolated rains in different parts of the country on Monday, the state weather bureau said.
In its 4 a.m. public weather forecast, PAGASA said Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms as a result of the easterlies as well.
The state weather bureau warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms or moderate to at times heavy rains in these areas.
Extreme Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas on Monday.
The rest of Northern Luzon and the rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.
