Rains brought about by the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will continue to affect Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, and the western section of Southern Luzon, according to PAGASA.

As of 2 a.m. on Wednesday, a low pressure area was spotted outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, but the weather bureau said it has a "low chance" of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

For Wednesday's weather, Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan will have occasional rains due to Habagat.

The same weather system will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains to Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, the rest of CALABARZON, and the rest of MIMAROPA.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms as a result of localized thunderstorms.
