Easterlies to bring rains over Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas
Easterlies are forecast to bring rains over Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas on June 20, 2026 according to PAGASA.
Forecast weather conditions
In the state weather bureau’s 4 p.m. weather bulletin, easterlies are forecast to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Visayas and Palawan.
Easterlies may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol region, and the rest of MIMAROPA.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country, localized thunderstorms are forecast to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Affected areas of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms may experience possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms, according to PAGASA.
Forecast sea and wind conditions
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are expected in the country, with waves running from 0.6 meters to 1.2 meters.
At the PAGASA Science Garden weather station in Diliman, Quezon City, the highest temperature recorded on Friday reached 33.1 degrees Celsius at 11 a.m., while the lowest temperature was logged at 26.5 degrees Celsius at 6 a.m.
