PAGASA: Habagat to soak parts of Luzon, Visayas on July 13, 2026

The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat is expected to bring scattered rains over parts of Luzon and Visayas on July 13, 2026, PAGASA said Sunday.

In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau forecast the habagat to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in the following areas:

  • Metro Manila
  • Ilocos region
  • Cordillera Administrative Region
  • Western Visayas
  • Zambales
  • Bataan
  • Tarlac
  • Pampanga
  • Bulacan
  • Cavite
  • Laguna
  • Batangas
  • Rizal
  • Occidental Mindoro
  • Romblon
  • Palawan

Meanwhile, due to the habagat, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected in the rest of Luzon and the rest of Visayas.

Localized thunderstorms are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms in Mindanao.

According to PAGASA, areas forecast to be affected by the habagat and localized thunderstorms may experience flash floods and landslides during heavy rains.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are expected in Northern Luzon and the western seaboards of Central and Southern Luzon, with waves running from 1.5 meters to 3.5 meters.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters are forecast in the rest of the country, with waves running from 0.6 meters to 2.1 meters.

At the PAGASA Science Garden weather station in Diliman, Quezon City, the highest temperature recorded on Sunday reached 29.4 degrees Celsius at 2 p.m., while the lowest temperature was logged at 25.9 degrees Celsius at 2 a.m.
