Habagat to bring cloudy skies, rain over part of Ilocos Region
The southwest monsoon (Habagat) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain over the western section of Northern Luzon on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.
Meanwhile, the center of Tropical Storm Josie, as of 3 a.m., was estimated at 1,095 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers near the center, gustiness of up to 80 km/h and moving northwestward at the speed of 25 km/h.
Forecast Weather Conditions
Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and La Union will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon while flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms while flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Conditions
The northern and western sections of Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the south to southwest direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to south direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
