LPA, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of Luzon
The Low Pressure Area (LPA) and the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Luzon on Thursday, PAGASA reported.
At 3 a.m., the LPA was estimated over the coastal waters of Nasugbu, Batangas.
Forecast Weather Conditions
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the LPA while flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies while flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms while flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Conditions
The wind speed forecast for Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the south to southwest direction while coastal waters are slight to moderate.
The wind speed forecast for Southern Luzon and Visayas is light to moderate moving in the southwest to southeast direction while coastal waters will be light to moderate.
The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
