State weather bureau PAGASA said Thursday that the low pressure area (LPA) that brought rains to several parts of the country over the past two days has dissipated.
PAGASA said the LPA, which affected Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, parts of MIMAROPA, CALABARZON, the Bicol Region, the Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga, dissipated as of its 8 a.m. bulletin on Thursday.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said the LPA outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) is not expected to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
As of 8 a.m., the weather system was located 1,595 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas. —VBL, GMA News
