Signal No. 2 raised by PAGASA in parts of Luzon due to Tropical Storm Maymay

The weather bureau PAGASA has placed eight areas in Luzon under Signal No. 2 on Wednesday afternoon due to Tropical Storm Maymay.

In its 5 p.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA estimated that Maymay’s eye is 145 kilometers west of Sinait, Ilocos Sur. Maymay is expected to make landfall in either Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, or La Union by Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

Maymay is packing maximum sustained winds of 75 km/h and gustiness of 90 km/h. It is moving north northeastward at 10 km/h.
