Maymay weakens into LPA

Maymay has weakened into a low pressure area and is still being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), according to PAGASA.

Meanwhile, PAGASA continues to monitor Typhoon Dolphin, which is outside PAR.

Rains will persist in parts of the country, particularly Central and Southern Luzon and the western section of Visayas due to the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.

The Southwest Monsoon will bring rains to Occidental, prompting PAGASA to warn residents of possible flash floods or landslides, especially during intense downpours.

Metro Manila, Pangasinan, La Union, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, and Antique will have occasional rains also brought about by the Southwest Monsoon.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the trough of Dolphin.

The rest of Luzon and Western Visayas will be cloudy with scattered rains and thunderstorms as a result of the Southwest Monsoon.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
