Luzon, Visayas to experience rains due to Habagat
Luzon and the Visayas will experience rains within the next 24 hours due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), state weather bureau PAGASA said Saturday morning.
Monsoon rains will affect Occidental Mindoro, Zambales, and Bataan, while Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, and Antique will experience occasional rains.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected over the Zamboanga Peninsula, the rest of Luzon, the rest of the Visayas, Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, and Lanao del Sur.
The trough of tropical cyclone Dolphin is expected to affect Batanes and the Babuyan Islands.
Localized thunderstorms are forecast over the rest of Mindanao.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods and landslides due to moderate to heavy rains or severe thunderstorms.
Strong to gale-force winds are expected over Extreme Northern Luzon, along with rough to very rough seas.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are forecast over the rest of the country.
