Habagat to affect Luzon, Visayas; localized thunderstorms expected elsewhere
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will continue to affect Luzon and the Visayas, state weather bureau PAGASA said in its early Saturday morning forecast.
Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Occidental Mindoro, and Oriental Mindoro will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may prevail over the rest of Luzon and the Visayas.
The rest of the country will experience localized thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are expected over the northern and western sections of Luzon.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are forecast over the rest of the country.
