RAINFALL ALERT: Yellow in parts of Zambales, Tarlac (Sunday, 8 p.m.)
A Yellow rainfall warning remained in effect over parts of Zambales and Tarlac as of Sunday evening due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
In its 8 p.m. advisory, PAGASA placed the following areas under a Yellow rainfall warning, where flooding is possible in flood-prone areas:
- Zambales: Santa Cruz, Candelaria, Masinloc
- Tarlac: San Clemente, Mayantoc
Meanwhile, light to moderate rains with occasional heavy rains are expected to persist in the following areas within the next three hours:
- Zambales: Palauig, Iba, Olongapo, Botolan
- Tarlac: San Jose, Santa Ignacia, Camiling, Victoria, Tarlac City, Gerona, Bamban
- Bataan: Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Samal, Orani, Limay, Orion, Pilar, Balanga, Mariveles, Abucay
- Pampanga: Lubao, Sasmuan, Macabebe, Masantol, Arayat
- Nueva Ecija: Gabaldon, Laur, Quezon, Guimba, General Tinio, Bongabon
- Quezon: San Andres, San Narciso, Mulanay, San Francisco, Catanauan, Buenavista, Tagkawayan, Lopez, Guinayangan, General Luna, Macalelon, Gumaca, Quezon, Alabat, Perez, Calauag, Jomalig, Patnanungan, Lucban, Sariaya, Sampaloc
- Bulacan: Paombong, Hagonoy, Calumpit, Malolos
- Laguna: Majayjay, Liliw
PAGASA said light to moderate rains with occasional heavy rains are also expected over Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite and Batangas within the next three hours.
