A new breed of singing aspirants have arrived and butted heads at the Clash Arena, with an all-new format pitting 12 New Clashers against former contenders aka the Clashbackers.

It is a delight to see that regions all over the Philippines are well-represented in the all-new The Clash 2025, with 10 of the New Clashers representing different parts of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao!

Below are a list of fun facts and trivia about Cotabato City’s Adelle Yu, Dasmariñas City’s Divine Camposano, Cebu City’s Jan Echavarria, San Jose Del Monte’s Juary Sabith, Davao City’s Leigh Atienza, Gingoog City’s Liafer Deloso, Lipa City’s Marian Pimenta and Venus Pelobello, and Laguna’s Mitzi Josh.

Adelle Yu
Adelle is a 35-year-old Clasher from Cotabato City.

A proud Cotabateña, she joined The Clash 2025 to showcase her talents in singing on one of the grandest singing stages in Philippine entertainment today.

“Sumali ako sa The Clash 2025 para maipamalas yung talento ko sa pagkanta sa stage na ito.”

Her edge over the other Clashers? “Experience, tatag ng loob at puso.”

She aspires to show the Clash Nation a strong showing on the Clash Arena, as she challenges herself to sing freely, share her vocal prowess, and be authentically Adelle.

“Dapat abangan sa akin yung pangmalakasan kong buga at matinding puso sa bawat pagkanta.”

The 35-year-old Mindanaoan thinks she is deserving to be the next The Clash grand champion because this has been her long-term dream– “matagal ko na po itong itong pinapangarap makamit, at alam kong meron pa akong mas maihahandog pag nabigyan ng pagkakataon.”

Divine Camposano
Divine is a 17-year-old Caviteño hailing from Dasmariñas City.

One notable trivia about her is that she’s possibly the biggest fan of The Clash who’s been given the chance to be a Clasher herself.

“Big fan po talaga ako ng The Clash since Season 1, bata pa ako noon,” claims Divine, pertaining to the time where the Kapuso singing competition had a mall tour and she insisted that her mom take her because she wanted to see the likes of Golden Cañedo.

She discovered her enthusiasm for singing at a very young age, when her family saw a three-year-old Divine hum a song by Imelda Papin.

“Ang pinakapangarap ko po is ma-share yung talent ko sa mga tao, and mabnigyan ng magandang buhay ang pamilya ko kasi si Papa ay isang OFW,” shares Divine, talking about her aspiration to be financially stable enough to retire her dad who’s been working abroad since she was a kid.

“Nakikita ko po tong way para matulungan sya at mapauwi sya. Ang laban na ito ay para sainyo.”

On top of this, she joined The Clash 2025 for a very personal reason– to fulfill a childhood dream, and she plans to accomplish this through courage and experience.

Jan Echavarria
Jan is a 28-year-old Cebuano who braved his way to Manila in order to pursue his singing dreams.

According to Jan, that he is a Season 5 clasher is already an achievement for him. “I am happy,” he says, “that the fact that I went here, tried out this crazy show and singing competition– it’s already an achievement for me. Never a dull moment.”

Hailing from Cebu City, Jan believes that being able to meet his idols in the industry is already a massive win.

“Sobrang dami kong nale-learn, nami-meet, sobrang daming magagaling na singer and for me, that’s already a win.”

His advantage, he claims, is his voice’s unique quality, one he says people notice to be “foreign.”

“My advantage is the quality of my voice. People are telling me na may pagka-foreign yung the way I sing, may pagka-international yung tone ko,” explains Jan.

He admits, however, that to win it all in The Clash Season 7, the primary challenge is not to beat his co-clashers,  but himself and his self-doubts.

“Ang hamon ko sa sarili ko ay yung (i-overcome) yung pag-overthink ko, yung kalaban ko ay sarili ko talaga. I overthink a lot po and everyday I battle that, but everyday I improve.”

Despite this, Jan believes that he has what it takes to take home the trophy as he has “what it takes, and God has put me in this position to win the whole thing.”

Leigh Atienza
Born and raised in Davao City, 26-year-old Davaoeña Leigh Atienza joined The Clash Season 7 as a necessary step as part of her grand plan to “pursue my dreams and passion” by moving to Manila.

“I grew up in a musically inclined family, and hindi ko siya ma-pursue sa Davao kasi wala masyadong opportunities there lalo na rin po sa theater, kasi yun din ang isa kong gusto i-pursue talaga,” explains Leigh, who is an avid fan of musical plays.

The Mindanaoan singer is also a proud breadwinner who comes from a broken family.

“Ako po yung tumatayong breadwinner kasi broken family po kami, kasi yung Mom ko pinauwi ko kasi she is an OFW and ayoko lumaki yung sister ko without a mother figure kaya pinauwi ko si Mama,” shares the proud bisaya

Leigh even went to Abu Dhabi to personally assure her mother that she is already financially stable– enough to have her come home permanently.

“Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Ma, magpahinga ka na at least ako na ang magsusupport.’”

At the same time, joining The Clash Season 7 is Leigh’s way of somehow prioritizing her dreams and aspirations.

”Doing this– The Clash– mas pinapahalagahan ko yung sarili ko kasi naka-focus ako sa dream ko.”

Leigh is also a Karate black-belter, a traveller, and a pour-over coffee lover.

Liafer Deloso
Liafer, 16, hails from Gingoog City in Misamis Oriental. Even as a teenager, she is already responsible for helping her father in his business endeavours, at times helping him deliver his products such as coconut vinegar and firewood.

“Tinutulungan ko po yung dad ko sa padedeliver ng suka galing sa niyog, ng panggatong para sa mga tong need ng kahoy pang luto.”

As early as high school, Liafer is already about the grind as she hopes to pursue a serious career in singing.

“Nung high school ako, every Friday and Saturday papasok po ako sa mga gigs and minsan sasali po ako sa mga contest. Kahit na ang layo ng gma contest na sinasalihan namin, pinupuntahan po namin yan para ma-share yung talent ko,” says Liafer, crediting her father for always being willing to drive for her.

Marian Pimenta
18-year-old Marian Pimenta is a proud Batangueño who hails from Lipa City.

Joining The Clash Season 7– her first major singing competition– is a nerve-wracking experience for Marian, inspired by the support of her musically inclined family. She also joined the singing show as a means to overcome her social anxiety and stage fright.

“Meron po kasi akong social anxiety so lagi pong nagse-self doubt sa potential ko. I think ito yung isa sa magandang stepping stone ko para ma-overcome yun,” reveals the Batangueño aspirant.

She views The Clash Season 7 as a tremendous opportunity to gain exposure and experience, and she hopes to be an inspiration to fellow singers who do not necessarily have the powerful vocal chords to belt out high notes.

In fact, she thinks of this as her edge in the competition. “Lahat po kami magagaling, pero ako yung tipong kakanta ng hindi masyadong mataas kasi hindi naman ako diva, pero kaya ko pa rin ipa-feel sa mga nanonood yung message ng kanta.”

Her challenge to herself? “Mas maging passionate sa ginagawa ko, at mas pagbutihin pa. Mag-practice nang mag-practice para mas gumaling yung potential ko.”

Marian is a multifaceted hobbyist, dabbling into various sports like basketball, volleyball, futsal, and swimming– among many other things.

According to Marian, she aims to show to the world that not only divas and balladeers can contend in a high-stakes competition such as The Clash.

“Pwede rin sumali yung mga hindi bumibirit– yung mismong boses mo lang ang ipaparinig mo. Ito ang first time kong sumali, kaya dito ipapakita ko yung pagpupursige ko na makarating hanggang dulo.”

Mitizi Josh
Mitzi Josh is a 23-year-old Lagunense total performer.

She is a young aspirant who’s already made waves as an up and coming Kapuso artist, dabbling with acting, singing, and even vlogging.

Mitzi is also a Sparkle artist, having been casted in a 2022 episode in Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko. She has released original tracks such as “Balik,” an original soundtrack with Jeff Moses from the GMA Prime series “Royal Blood,” and “Let Me Down Easy.”

Mitzy is an introvert who loves to eat when stressed, can twist her flexible thumb backwards, is fond of sleeping, and a certified kikay.

Venus Pelobello
Venus Pelobello, 31, is a Batangueño clasher from Lipa City.

She joined The Clash 2025 because “this is one of my dreams– to becopme a well-known singer and to win a competition.”

She sees her stint in the Kapuso singing competition as a dream-come-true and an answered prayer.

“Ang meron ako na wala sa ibang clashers, since I am now 31, napakrami ko na rin pinagdaanan sa buhay,” shares Venus, “magagamit ko ito when it comes to performing, and mas mararamdaman ko yung lyrics ng kanta– mapeperform ko yung mga songs with all my heart and soul.”

As Venus braces for an ultimate challenge against a powerhouse roster of clashers, she sets herself for a ‘Venus 2.0’ – “braver, bolder, fiercer.”

“Ibibigay ko yung 101% ko para makuha ang title. Ang hamon ko sa clashers, ibigay din nila ang isandaang porsyento dahil hindi magiging madali ang laban.”

Juary Sabith
20-year-old Juary Sabith from San Jose del Monte, Bulacan is Filipina-American singer and composer.

She studied Bachelor of Public Administration with a Specialization in Human Resource Management at the CCSJDM-School of Public Administration.
