The bright lights are on for Cagayan de Oro’s eight-singer group Vocalmyx, and Central Luzon’s trio P3 as they both look to bring home the trophy in the Grand Finale of The Voice Generations on tonight, December 10.

KAGAY-ANON REPRESENT

After a masterful semifinals performance, finals-bound for Coach Stell is Vocalmyx who hails from CDO.

The group is composed of Raven Joshua Zamora, Renier Jupiter, Renz Romano, Reynan Paul Jupiter, Rob Cataylo, Shanny Obidos, Charrise Engracia Apag, and Claire Marie Rañoa.

Though there is no surprise for the Kagay-anon acapella group to reach this stage of the competition after being the first-ever four-chair turner in the blind auditions off an almost-perfect “Hayap” rendition, they’re the first to admit that this is an unexpected journey.

“Before po sa CDO pa lang kami, view po talaga namin sa team kahit umabot lang po tayo sa Manila, kahit ano mangyari dun basta makaabot lang tayo, ganun ba,” said Vocalmyx’s Reynan in a mid-season TV interview.

BULACAN AND PAMPANGA’S BEST

P3’s Karl Tanhueco, Arvie Centeno, and Tan Sultan from Bulacan and Pampanga hope to make waves one final time as they represent Coach Billy Crawford’s Team Bilib in the finals.

“We’ve created something na hindi pa naririnig ng mga viewers and audience, pinagsama-sama namin ‘yung mga ginawa namin from the blinds (audition) to the semifinals,” the P3 said in an online media interview.

“Itotodo na namin, ibubuhos na namin,” added the trio from Central Luzon.

The three-man singing group started as a duo with Bulaceńos Arvie and Tan being a pair act since 2018 until they saw online a viral performance video of Karl, who hails from Angeles, Pampanga.

The rest is history for the pride of Central Luzon.

“From magkakalaban sa barangay competitions, magkasama na po kami magcompete ngayon sa sobrang laking ‘The Voice Generations’. Mas masarap palang lumaban nang may kasama,” P3 said.

Virtually a LuzViMin finals battle, Mindanaoan Vocalmyx and Luzon-pride P3 will be giving it their all against Cebu’s very own girl group ‘Sorority,’ and Boholano duo ‘Music & Me’ on a December 10 night full of majestic singing and world-class performances.
