Two fishermen in Miagao town, Province of Iloilo who were earlier reported to be missing were already rescued.
In a post of Miagao Infocen, the two fishermen were rescued with the help of the members of the Philippine Coast Guard, Miagao Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, and volunteer fishermen.
The two fishermen identified as “Julie,” 20 years old and “Jay,” 19 years old, were last seen in Baybay Sur, Miagao at 5 a.m. on May 5, 2024. The two set out at sea but failed to return on schedule.
