A fire ravaged a house in Barangay San Antonino, Burgos, Isabela.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fire was caused by a rice cooker that overheated.
The fire also affected several tricycles parked nearby.
Investigation continues as of this writing.
Meanwhile, a vacant lot in Barangay Manueva, Santa, Ilocos Sur, was hit by two grass fires.
The BFP reported that previous incidents of grass fires had occurred in the area, and now an estimated 1000 square meters of private land had been razed by fire.
