A 30-year-old man was found dead on the road in Barangay Sta. Maria, Umingan, Pangasinan.
The man was identified as Jesus Camurungan.
Authorities suspect he was a victim of a hit-and-run incident because he had wounds in his head and body.
Based on police investigation, the incident occurred while Camurungan was riding his motorcycle on his way home.
His family is deeply distressed by the incident, especially since his partner is five months pregnant.
According to Jessica, the injuries her brother sustained were more than just minor scratches, which was why they requested a thorough investigation. They suspect foul play in his death.
Ang sabi nila, wala silang narinig,” Jessica said.
The Umingan Police are now investigating the incident to determine if foul play was involved, although initial evidence points to a road accident.
Arnold Soriano, Chief of Umingan Police Station, said.
The Camurungan family hopes that justice will be served.
