A one-year-old boy and his three-year-old sister were killed by a fire that trapped them in their house in Barangay Elizalde, Maco, Davao de Oro.
According to the Maco Municipal Fire Station, only one house was affected by the fire.
Authorities said an unattended candle may have caused the fire.
The damage to property was estimated at P430,000.
Investigation into the incident continues.
