Two brothers working as parking boys were injured after they were attacked and beaten with pipes during a brawl in Barangay Canelar, Zamboanga City dawn on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

In a video, one of the victims wearing a white shirt is seen lying on the ground as he was being kicked and struck repeatedly with a pipe.

Another man wearing a pink shirt was chased by several men carrying pipes until he was cornered and also beaten.

Police said the victims are brothers, 35 and 26 years old. They were brought to a hospital and are in stable condition.

During hot pursuit, two men allegedly involved in the brawl were arrested. They were identified as 28-year-old and 20-year-old residents of San Jose, Cawa-Cawa. Other individuals involved managed to escape.

The two men arrested will face charges for physical injury.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the brawl.

“With regard sa mauling incident, nagko-conduct pa kami ng thorough investigation para ma-confirm talaga namin kung saan ba nag-umpisa ang away nila,” Zamboanga City Police Station 11 Commander, Capt. Abudaziz Salahuddin, said.
