A 32-year-old pregnant woman gave birth inside a police patrol car in Davao City evening on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
According to the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), the woman sought help from Bunawan Police Station as she was already in labor.
Officers responded immediately and transported her toward the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC).
However, the baby was unexpectedly delivered inside the moving vehicle before they reached the hospital.
Police officers assisted during the delivery, ensuring the safety of both mother and child.
Authorities confirmed that the mother and her newborn baby boy are in good health.
