The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) has launched an investigation into a passenger bus that caught fire while on the road in Barangay Tuboran, Mawab, Davao de Oro, on Monday, June 29, 2026
According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, the bus was heading to New Bataan town from Tagum City when the accident happened.
The Army’s 10th Infantry Division (10ID) deployed its personnel and fire truck to assist firefighters from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in putting the fire out, and provide security for motorists in the area.
The fire was put out at past 6 p.m.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, especially among the passengers on board the bus.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
