Authorities have terminated the search and rescue operation for the hiker who went missing on Mt. Kalatungan in Pangantucan, Bukidnon.

Alkharj Zamayla went missing on June 12, 2026 while trail hiking. After 11 days of searching, the incident management team terminated the operation on Friday, June 26.

The termination followed the recommendation of the incident management team led by the Bukidnon Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) and the Pangantucan local government unit.

Based on the latest report, police said no signs were found in the mountain that would indicate that Zamayla was in a distressed situation.

Police said monitoring will continue.
