An 18-year-old man in Bohol has been tagged as the main suspect in the killing of his 33-year-old uncle.

The victim’s body was found placed inside a sack at a grassy area in a desolate place in Barangay Can-olin in Candihay town where he lived.

The nephew allegedly choked the victim to death before wrapping his body with a tape and placing it in a sack.

Initial investigation disclosed that the suspect got mad at his uncle for giving him only half of the P2,000 he had asked for.

The police identified and traced the suspect with the help of information from the victim’s mobile phone that was left at the restaurant where he served as manager.

The victim was also the director of the cashier’s office at a state university in Bohol.

The victim’s family reported him missing after two days.
