It's Arellano once more.
The Arellano Chiefsquad ruled the NCAA cheerleading competition anew for the group's sixth straight title during the Season 100 Cheerleading Competition on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Mall of Asia Arena.
In a report by GMA Integrated News, the Chiefsquad impressed judges with a performance centered on the theme 'Unstoppable' and got 218 points to rule the competition.
For Chiefsquad head coach Lucky San Juan, maintaining their position on top of the NCAA Cheerleading event was harder this time around, especially with more rookies coming.
"'Yung mga nakaraang title namin, ang haba kasi ng playing years ng mga batang nandoon. Ito puro bago halos," San Juan said.
The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA ALTAs Perpsquad finished second with 213.5 points, while the Letran Cheering Squad placed third with 210.5 points.
Only nine teams participated in the competition as Lyceum of the Philippines University was not able to reach the minimum number of athletes required for the tournament.
