GMA Films’ The Road was finally released commercially in the United States and Canada. With reviews and positive feedback pouring in, let’s take a look at how its journey to Hollywood began.

After being featured in numerous US-based movie websites the past few weeks and topping iTunes’ Most Popular Trailers list last April 24, the highly anticipated horror film The Road is finally coming to theaters in US and Canada.

Six US-based media outlets had the chance to interview Yam Laranas, the director of the highly anticipated GMA Films production, The Road. The movie will be released commercially in the United States and Canada.

It's all-systems-go for GMA Films and the Hollywood red carpet has been rolled out for its 2011 horror movie The Road, which will hit cinemas in the United States beginning May 11 (May 12 in the Philippines).

As the commercial release of The Road in the United States comes closer, four more movie websites have included the trailer of the said film in their featured trailers list. 

The Road director Yam Laranas was very delighted to share the news that the much anticipated horror film reached the number one spot of the Top 25 Most Popular Trailers list of iTunes last April 24.

After a successful broadcast trailer premiere on Reelz Channel last week, GMA Films’ The Road is currently being featured on US-based movie websites and is receiving a lot of attention from critics.
