Netizens react to LTFRB plan on Uber and Grab crackdown

Apart from the online petition posted on change.org, netizens are making their voices heard on LTFRB-Uber-Grab brouhaha using the hashtag #WeWantUberGrab.

It’s been the top trending topic on Twitter the entire Monday.

Short of the long: LTFRB has suspended the acceptance of new driver applicants for ride-hailing services and word on the street has it that it will become next to impossible for commuters to book a ride come next week.

Apart from praising the ride-hailing services, netizens were quick to react to an alleged quote from an LTFRB official, saying they need to stricter with Uber and Grab so they can be as safe as cabs, buses, and jeepneys.
