Clasher Jong Madaliday goes viral on YouTube — again!

And he does it again.

Clasher Jong Madaliday's performed Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better” on the GMA talent show The Clash over the weekend and on Thursday, the video of his performance entered the Top 10 of YouTube's list of trending videos. 

It’s not surprising because the 19-year-old resident of Cotabato not only killed it, he made the song his own.

“Parang punong puno ng puso mo. Binuhos mo lahat ng puso mo at binagsak sa amin yung kanta,” said judge Lani Misalucha with AiAi saying she was moved by Jong’s performance.

He won in that episode — and with over 300,000 views on YouTube, it’s safe to say he’s winning in that regard as well.

But here’s the thing: Jong already actually went viral a long time ago — five years ago to be precise, back when he was only 14 years old.

In that video, Jong was accompanied by 2 friends as they performed “Having you Near Me."

That video garnered 1.9 million views and has been replicated on the video sharing site. The version that we found? It has more than 300,000 views.

It might be too early to call it, but it's not hard to imagine Jong becoming a super successful singer. — LA, GMA News
