MMDA officer gives unclothed, homeless kid a bag of clothes and shoes

Kindness is indeed alive.

An MMDA officer was seen giving a homeless and unclothed little girl staying under an MRT station a big plastic bag filled with clothes and shoes.

On Facebook Thursday, netizen Michael Maguigad shared a photo he took of the touching moment he witnessed under the train station on Quezon Avenue corner Panay Avenue.

In the caption, Michael narrated how he would often see the little girl on the said spot, half naked. On Wednesday, he continued, he saw MMDA officer named Baro calling the father of the child.

"I thought papa-alisin [sila]...but he got his bag, brought out a big plastic of clothes and shoes and dressed up the kid," he wrote in the caption. 

According to Michael's post, bystanders were put to tears when they saw how overjoyed the kid was as she shouted, "tay tay and dami kong damit, tay."
