Sugarfree musical 'Sa Wakas' returns to stage in April 2018

"Sa Wakas," a musical based on Sugarfree songs, will be back for a third time on stage.

The "farewell run", as its poster calls it, will open on April 7 at the Power Mac Center in Circuit Makati, its Facebook page announced on Wednesday afternoon.

"Sa Wakas" was first staged in 2013 at the Peta Theater in Quezon City. It returned on stage in January last year, and triggered all possible hugots from audiences.

Featuring songs by Pinoy rock favorite Sugarfree — "Sa Wakas" is also the name of the band's debut record, released 15 years ago — the musical is a bittersweet love story that starts at the very end: a breakup.
