Miss Multinational Philippines 2017 Sophia Senoron is the youngest beauty queen to be crowned at the 2017 Miss World Philippines coronation night on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
At only 17, Sophia has already earned a national crown and she is now all set to compete and represent the Philippines on an international stage — but Sophia has been living a colorful life even before winning a title.
Here are seven things about Sophia Senoron that you may not know:
1. She is a varsity debater at San Beda College
Sophia not only slays on the runway, she also knows how to voice out her opinions. This beauty queen is also a varsity debater at San Beda College.
It's not surprise that she wowed during the dreaded Question and Answer portion of the pageant!

2. She loves pageants
This explains how she ended up winning a crown in Miss World Philippines — she is a big fan of pageants and being a beauty queen has always been a dream of hers.
In January, she watched the Miss Universe competition live. Maybe she was even taking down notes while she was watching!
This woman was born to be a beauty queen: She won Miss San Beda 2016, she participated in Flores de Mayo in May, and she earned a crown in Generation East 2017 in June.

3. She loves burgers
Surprised? She may have a perfectly toned figure, but she isn't one to say no to a scrumptious burger!

For Sophia, dogs are just irresistible, when she's not out joining pageants and debating, she cuddles with these adorable pups.

6. She looks up to the women in her life
They say looking up to strong women will make you one and Sophia has an excellent relationship with her mom and lola, who always sticks by her side throughout her journey.
7. She's ready to show the world that Filipinas are not just beautiful
Sophia is thrilled that the crown landed on her head because it affords her to opportunity to show the world that the Philippines is home to women of substance.
"Excited to represent the Philippines internationally, it's time to show the world that we aren't just a country of beautiful women but of intelligent minds. Para sa bayan," she wrote on Instagram after winning her title.
