Alma dotes on Winwyn after Reina Hispanoamericana's return

She may be the new Reina Hispanoamericana, but she'll always be Alma's little girl.

GMA News' Nelson Canlas captured a tender moment between Winwyn Marquez and mom Alma Moreno on Monday, shortly after the beauty queen arrived back in the Philippines.

Winwyn defied the odds after winning the crown in Bolivia on November 4, on the very first time a Filipina joined the pageant.

While Alma was not able to join Winwyn on her trip, she was among the first persons the beauty queen called after winning the contest.

"Dapat kasama ako pero hindi ako pinayagan ng doctor kasi masyadong mataas 'yung altitude doon, hindi ko kakayanin 'yung biyahe talaga, two days? Mahihirapan ako," Alma told GMA News earlier this month. —JST, GMA News
