After opening the competition with a statement of a national costume and then following it up with a vibrant one-piece, Philippine bet Mariel de Leon went for a simple but elegant look for the evening gown competition.

She shone in a tube-cut nude dress, embellished only with gold sparkles, that emphasized her curves.

All seventy one ladies did the catwalk to represent their respective countries.
