The Miss International pageant is ongoing Tuesday afternoon in Japan.

It opened with the girls parading in their national costume, the first competition of the evening.

Our bet, Mariel De Leon walked in a cute contemporary gray FIlipiniana by Cary Santiago.

Her national costume is completed with a queenly headpiece that is inspired by the local mythical Sarimanok.
