There's a new voting mechanic to help Katarina Rodriguez advance as a finalist for Miss Intercontinental.

Miss Intercontinental set up a new online voting poll for the Miss Sunrise Resorts 2017 Award, the winner of which will also automatically secure a spot in the finals as one of the top 6.

Katarina shared the mechanics on her Instagram account: "Hey everyone so there’s a new voting happening now for @missintercontinentalorg and that’s Miss Sunrise Resorts 2017! Please click the link in my bio to cast your vote! You have the option of voting once a day, however you must vote three contestants for one vote to go through, and you all have until January 23, 9:00PM Egyptian time."

Rodriguez is currently on the 2nd spot with 1,469 votes, while Miss Indonesia Alicia Weley is on the top spot with 1,798 votes.

In the The Great Pageant Community People's Choice award, Rodriguez is also on the 2nd spot with 139,649 votes as of this writing. — LA, GMA News
